Luca Longo

Luca L. is a dedicated early stage scientist with a strong passion for technology and research, particularly in Artificial Intelligence and Human-Computer Interaction.

He focuses on formalizing human Mental Workload through deductive knowledge representation and reasoning techniques, including Defeasible reasoning and Argumentation Theory, as well as inductive modeling techniques like Machine Learning.

His diverse academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy, a Master of Science in Education, and various degrees in Computer Science and Informatics.

With over 20 years of experience, Luca has worked as a software developer, software architect, and technology leader in international software houses and start-ups.

He is actively engaged in disseminating scientific material through TEDx talks and has received awards for both his research work and teaching efforts, including a "national teaching hero award" in 2016.

Luca's vision and research team aim to apply their computational concepts to fields like Human-Computer Interaction, Education, Neuroscience, and Universal Design.
