Louisa (lulu) Zhang

Louisa (Lulu) Zhang is an accomplished professional with a background in engineering and finance, transitioning to venture capital and business development.

With an engineering degree from Columbia University and a Master's degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science, Louisa spent 6 years in investment banking focusing on technology, hardware/semiconductors, e-commerce, and private capital investments.

Her career then led her to become the City Launcher for Memebox in Hong Kong, where she drove the go-to-market strategy, managed sales and marketing, oversaw operations, and successfully launched sales locations and a flagship store.

Currently, Louisa serves as a Vice President at a Hong Kong-based venture capital firm, where she invests in consumer-facing startups and spearheads growth and cross-border business development for the firm's portfolio companies.

Apart from her professional accomplishments, Louisa is a multitalented individual with interests in web surfing, triathlons, DIY projects, and swimwear design. She has a profound passion for technology and entrepreneurship, which has been recognized through awards such as the Top 50 Innovative Retail Leaders in 2017 by InsideRetail.

Her past roles include Head of Investments, APAC at HSBC, Managing Director at Vectr Ventures, Senior Business Development Manager at Memebox Corporation, and various positions at financial institutions like UBS AG, Goldman Sachs, and Schafer Cullen Capital Management.
