Lori Kozlowski is a seasoned media executive, editorial director, writer, and producer with over 20 years of experience in journalism and media.
Throughout her career, she has worked with a diverse range of organizations, from media companies to startups, global brands, governments, and NGOs, helping them reshape their storytelling for modern audiences.
In 2017, Lori founded More Light Media, a new media company focusing on original content production and storytelling collaborations with startups, brands, and NGOs.
Her leadership roles have spanned across renowned entities such as Forbes, Los Angeles Times, Atom Factory, the City of Los Angeles, International Fund for Animal Welfare, Project Empathy, Google, and Shondaland.
During her time as the global director of content for the International Fund for Animal Welfare in 2019, she played a pivotal role in expanding the NGO's reach and reshaping narratives around animals, land, people, and climate change.
Lori co-founded Smashd at Atom Factory, a platform exploring music, technology, culture, and startups, while also serving as Editorial Director, spearheading the company's media division.
She has a rich editorial background, having served as an editor and columnist at Forbes, and as a senior editor at the Los Angeles Times, where she led digital and content strategies.
Lori Kozlowski holds a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Southern California, and has also shared her expertise as adjunct faculty at Chapman University and USC.
