Lorena (Lori) Charbonneau is a highly accomplished mechanical engineer turned educator. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Teaching and Teacher Education from the University of Arizona. Lori spent several years working at major companies like Abbott Laboratories, Roche Tissue Diagnostics, and Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. where she served as the Director of Hardware Product Technical Support and Principal Quality Engineer. Prior to working in the engineering field, Lori held various teaching positions, including as a math teacher at Leonard High School and an 8th-grade science teacher at Flowing Wells USD and Baboquivari USD.
Her diverse professional experience has provided Lori with a unique set of skills that make her an exceptional educator. She is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has a deep understanding of problem-solving and critical thinking. Lori's love for engineering and science is evident in her teaching style and ability to relate complex concepts to students.
