Loren Busby is a seasoned finance professional and current Director of BioVenture eLab at Weill Cornell Medicine. Busby received her education from the prestigious Columbia Business School, where she earned an M.B.A. in Finance, and Central Connecticut State University, where she earned a B.S. in Management.

Before joining BioVenture eLab, Busby served as a consultant at NGN Capital LLC under the Cresco Advisors moniker, as well as Managing Member at Cresco Advisors LLC and Partner at NGN Capital LLC. She also held positions at Walden Capital Management, Princeton University Investment Company / Nassau Capital LLC, and Thomson Financial / Venture Economics.

With a wealth of experience in finance and investment management, Busby brings considerable expertise to her role at BioVenture eLab. Her contributions to the organization focus on helping entrepreneurs and researchers get their innovative ideas to market, particularly in the field of biotech.
