Lonnie Rae

Lonnie Rae Kurlander is an accomplished tech entrepreneur and operator, distinguished for her proficiency in Artificial Intelligence, Web3, and Healthcare. Kurlander has an MBA in Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine, and a BA in Molecular Biology and Chemistry from Vanderbilt University. She matriculated in the MD/MBA program in conjunction with the Dean's fellowship at the Berkeley Haas School of Business. With over 7 years of experience in building teams and products, Kurlander has led organizations that have raised over $100M in capital.

Kurlander founded, grew, and sold an AI company, Medal, in the HealthTech sector. She was the first hire at HUMAN Protocol, a Web 3.0 distributed Machine Learning Infrastructure company that is developing on Blockchain. She has been a mentor at Henkel and a strategic advisor at Stealth, HUMAN Protocol Foundation, and Science.

Kurlander worked as the Head of Operations & AI Platform at HUMAN Protocol Foundation, where she led operations and developed AI systems utilizing Blockchain technology. Prior to her work at HUMAN Protocol, she was the Chief Executive Officer at Medal, which was acquired by CIOX (Datavant). She was also a 2014 cohort at StartX Med, a Stanford University research internship program.
