Dr. Long Le is an accomplished academic and researcher with a diverse educational background and rich experience in the field of wireless communication and networking. He earned his B.Eng. degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in 1999, followed by an M.Eng. degree from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in 2002, and ultimately achieving his PhD from the University of Manitoba in 2007.
Dr. Le embarked on his professional journey as a postdoctoral researcher, serving at reputable institutions such as the University of Waterloo from April 2007 to August 2008, and the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from August 2008 to July 2010. In October 2010, he transitioned into academia as a tenure-track faculty member at the esteemed INRS-EMT, University of Quebec.
His research interests are centered around wireless communication and networking, with a current emphasis on cognitive radio, radio resource management for HetNet, network control and optimization, as well as smart power grids. Dr. Le's specialties encompass a wide array of topics within the realm of wireless communications and networking, including cognitive radio, radio resource management for HetNet, wireless network protocol design and analysis, and smart grids.
Throughout his career, Dr. Le has held various positions such as an Associate Professor at INRS, University of Quebec, an Assistant Professor at the same institution, and has also contributed as a Postdoc Research Associate at MIT and a Postdoc Fellow at the University of Waterloo. His academic and research background underscores a commitment to innovation and advancing knowledge in the field of wireless communication and networking.
