Managing Partner and Founder, Fin Capital
Logan Allin is the managing partner and founder of Fin Capital, a venture capital firm focused on investing in enterprise fintech software companies in the US, UK and Europe.123 He is responsible for managing the firm, sourcing and making investments, maintaining board responsibilities, and adding operating value across the portfolio.12
Prior to founding Fin Capital in 2018, Logan was Vice President of SoFi Ventures, where he invested in and worked hands-on with fintech companies, as well as ran SoFi's accelerator and corporate development efforts.123 Before that, he held entrepreneurial advisory and operating roles at various firms including Light Street Capital, Formation 8/Group, Zanbato, Addepar, and others.12
Earlier in his career, Logan was a corporate executive as Head of Strategy at Atlantic Trust, the Private Wealth Management arm of Invesco (now CIBC), where he oversaw enterprise fintech strategy and execution.12 He also served as a Senior Vice President at City National Bank's wealth management division (now part of RBC), leading technology strategy, open product architecture platform, and other initiatives.12
Logan earned a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and a M.S. in Management from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, where he was a Sloan Fellow.123 He currently serves on the advisory board of Stanford's MSx program.4
Under Logan's leadership, Fin Capital has grown to manage over $1 billion in assets, with a portfolio spanning 12 unicorns and over 110 active companies globally.1 The firm was recently named the most active fintech investor globally by FT Partners as of Q1 2024.1
