Lobna Hassairi

Lobna Hassairi is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in media and communications. She holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Electronic Media from American University, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from the same institution, and another Master of Arts (M.A.) in Mass Communication/Media Studies from The Johns Hopkins University.

Lobna has held various significant roles in different organizations, showcasing her versatility and expertise in the field. Currently, she serves as the Senior Media and Communications Manager at the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS), where she plays a pivotal role in managing and directing media and communications efforts.

Prior to her current position, Lobna Hassairi has contributed her skills and knowledge in several other organizations. She has served as the Director of Events & Communications at The Munathara Initiative, bringing her expertise to organize events and oversee communication strategies. Additionally, she has worked as a Program Officer at Qatar Foundation International and gained valuable experience as a Production Intern at National Geographic.

Furthermore, Lobna has honed her media production skills through roles such as Associate Producer & Editor at the Capital Cooking Show with Lauren DeSantis and as an Advertising Intern at the Ecological Society of America. Her diverse professional background demonstrates a strong foundation in media, communications, and event management.
