Lizette Perez-Deisboeck

Lizette M. Perez-Deisboeck is the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel at Battery Ventures, a global technology-focused investment firm. With over 20 years of legal experience, she specializes in counseling entrepreneurs, public companies, and private clients on various corporate matters. Her legal career began after a clerkship with Judge Michael A. Telesca, followed by a role in the corporate department at Goodwin Procter, where she worked on diverse transactions including mergers and acquisitions and public company reporting.

In 2009, Perez-Deisboeck joined Battery Ventures as General Counsel and later took on the additional role of Chief Compliance Officer in 2018. She emphasizes the importance of being closely integrated with the business, which enhances her effectiveness as a lawyer and risk manager.
