Liza Littenberg-Tobias

Liza Littenberg-Tobias is an experienced educator, coach, and leader with over 8 years of experience working in low-income, urban public schools. She studied Education at Brown University and has since then worked in various positions, including Senior Director of College Access at Excel Academy Charter Schools, Director of College Access 5-8th grade at Excel Academy Charter Schools, Campus Director at Citizen Schools, and Manager of Training and Support at Citizen Schools. She has also worked as a Teaching Fellow at Edwards Middle School at Citizen Schools, an Education Intern at Providence Children's Museum, a Meiklejohn Academic Advisor at Brown University, and a Summer Teacher at The Breakthrough Collaborative. She has experience in coaching and managing first and second-year teachers, creating and adjusting curriculum, implementing positive behavior management systems for students, and analyzing student performance data. She has organized numerous events to showcase and celebrate student work, engage families, and recruit volunteers.
