Liz White is a dedicated book lover and tea drinker with a strong focus on public libraries and community engagement.
With a solid educational background, Liz obtained a Master of Business Administration from Dyson School of Design Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, and a Master of Arts in English from Durham University.
Professionally, Liz holds the position of Everyone Engaged Portfolio Director and Head of Public Libraries and Community Engagement at The British Library. Previously, she served on the Board of Trustees at the Chartered Management Institute, held roles in strategy development and planning at The British Library, contributed to finance at The Electoral Commission, engaged in policy and strategy within the UK Civil Service, and worked as a Library Assistant at the School of Advanced Study, University of London.
