Liyu Chen

Liyu Chen is a seasoned professional with expertise in sewer rehabilitation, civil design, hydraulic modeling, water/wastewater treatment process design, stormwater management, and low impact development.

Liyu Chen holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa, where he achieved an impressive average grade of A (9/10).

Currently, Liyu Chen works as a Desinger/Project Coordinator in the Conveyance department at WSP in Canada.

Previously, Liyu Chen gained experience as a Design Specialist at Jacobs and as a Field Assistant at WSP.

In addition, Liyu Chen has held various roles including Laboratory Health & Safety Representative at the Union of Student Workers at the University of Ottawa, Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, Project Coordinator at China Water Resources Pearl River Planning Surveying and Designing Co., Ltd., and Lab Assistant at Pearl River Water Resources Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources.
