Liubomyr Bregman

Liubomyr Bregman is a highly experienced Senior Consultant and Team Leader in the field of Data Science, with expertise in Finance, FinTech, eCommerce, Telco, Retail, and Logistics. With a strong background in economics and econometrics, he combines managerial experience and machine learning/data science expertise with excellent business development skills. He is highly skilled in R, Python, SQL, Spark, Tableau, and PowerBI, among other analytics, business intelligence (BI), and data management tools. With a reputation as a dynamic public speaker and conference speaker, he lectures regularly in the field of Data Science. Bregman has a Master's degree in Applied Economics, Quantitative Methods in Economics, from CERGE-EI.

At present, Bregman is the Data Science Lead at Amazon, contributing his expertise to help grow the company. Prior to joining Amazon, he held several notable positions, including a Visiting Lecturer at the Ukrainian Catholic University and Data Science and Analytics Advisor at Independent Consultant. Bregman also served as a Senior Data Scientist at PwC Czech Republic and a Visiting Associate at The Boston Consulting Group. He is also the former partner and co-founder of Optigra Software.
