Lissa O'Callaghan

Lissa O'Callaghan is a dedicated postgraduate student currently pursuing an MSc in Ecological Management and Conservation Biology at Queen's University Belfast. Her academic focus lies in applied GIS and remote sensing of marine habitats, with a previous BSc degree in Geography from the University of Exeter, where her research concentrated on soil ecology and ecosystem conservation.

Beyond academia, Lissa is deeply passionate about charity work, having undertaken the Everest Base Camp Trek in support of Children with Cancer UK. Her expertise and interests revolve around environmental conservation, ecosystem vulnerabilities, and sustainable ecosystem management.

Lissa's educational background includes a BA/BSc in Geography from the University of Exeter, A-levels in Geography, Psychology, Early Modern History, and Geology from Hereford Sixth Form College, and currently pursuing a Master of Science in Ecological Management and Conservation Biology at Queen's University Belfast.

Throughout her career, Lissa has been associated with various organizations, including roles at Screwfix, National Trust, Debenhams, Wildlife Sense, The Shop - Penryn Campus, Marks and Spencer, and Hereford Cathedral, where she has gained valuable experience in service, conservation, engagement, sales, and research.
