Lisa Yoder

Lisa Yoder is a dedicated individual with a passion for making connections. Her ultimate goal is to link people to ideas, resources, and each other to foster a sense of community and belonging. Lisa's journey began in a public, open-concept school environment that emphasized collaborative learning, which sparked her interest in the potential of online education during the 90s. Dissatisfied with the limited scope of online learning programs, Lisa pursued a Master's in Education in Instructional Systems Technology and delved into online tutoring and instructional design. Currently, she focuses on connecting individuals for online learning endeavors, leveraging her expertise in community formation, e-learning, alternative credentialing, professional writing, instructional design, project management, and more. Lisa is open to discussions on education improvement, meaningful employment, community building, and even the best kayaking spots in Central Florida's Gulf Coast or Central Indiana. Her diverse educational background includes studies in Pastoral Ministry, Communications, Journalism, and Instructional Systems Technology. She has held various roles, including Senior Account Implementation Manager at Pearson, Lead Instructional Designer at Pearson North America, and Tutor/Mentor at Tutor.com, among others.
