Lisa Rose is a seasoned campaigns and communications manager with more than 15 years of experience in developing and executing environmental and social justice campaigns. Her expertise spans various areas including digital mobilisation, political advocacy, campaign strategy, social media, and communications.
She pursued her higher education at The University of Manchester, where she studied BSc (Hons) in Zoology with a specialization in marine zoology and ecotoxicology.
Lisa held key roles in prestigious organizations such as 350.org, WaterBear Network, Ananda Partners, Patagonia, Avaaz, ActionAid, and Greenpeace International. Her positions ranged from Associate Director of Communications and Digital Engagement to Environmental Campaigns Manager, showcasing her diverse skill set and extensive experience in the field.
Before transitioning into the environmental advocacy sector, Lisa Rose also worked in research and educational roles, including being a Postgraduate Researcher at Bermuda Zoological Society and a Research Assistant at NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration), highlighting her multi-faceted background.
