Lisa Lipkin is a seasoned professional storyteller with over twenty-five years of experience in writing and performing original works internationally.
Her diverse career includes performing original storytelling shows in NYC's public schools, working with marginalized groups like battered women and homeless individuals, and serving as the storyteller-in-residence at the Museum of the City of New York.
In 2008, Lisa transitioned to sharing her expertise by founding her consultancy, Story Strategies, where she offers storytelling training for various sectors including scientists, communications, branding, marketing, recruitment, and more.
She has appeared Off-Broadway and internationally with shows like 'What Mother Never Told Me…Reminiscences of the Child of a Holocaust Survivor,' and has authored 'Bringing the Story Home: The Complete Guide to Storytelling for Parents' and edited five books of American Poetry.
Lisa Lipkin's work extends to contributing articles to prestigious publications like The New York Times Magazine, New Yorker, and Ladies Home Journal. She believes in the power of storytelling to elevate mundane objects, facts, and data into compelling narratives.
With a background in theater, writing, and political science from Sarah Lawrence College, Lisa has also studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has held positions as the FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR of Story Strategies, Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Baypath University, and Tutor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) for Business.
Lisa's specialties lie in providing storytelling training, powerpoint presentations, elevator pitches, speech writing, and story coaching, with a particular focus on women's empowerment.
