Lisa Leong is a prominent figure in the financial sector, currently serving as the Managing Director of Institutional Business for Southeast Asia at Capital Group, a position she has held since December 2021. In this role, she is responsible for developing strategies and fostering relationships with institutional clients in the region, reporting directly to Jeik Sohn, the head of the client group for Singapore and Southeast Asia.23
Prior to her current position, Leong was the Head of Institutional Business for Southeast Asia at Franklin Templeton from January 2015 until December 2021. Leong holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance with First Class Honours from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
