Lisa Jones is a passionate storyteller and researcher with a focus on heritage, health, landscape, and environment.
She collaborates with individuals to discover, narrate, and circulate stories through various mediums like digital stories, podcasts, installations, and writing.
Lisa's current and recent projects include a research collaboration with Cardiff University on hip dysplasia stories, an artist residency at Oriel Davies exploring Robert Owen's legacy, and developing storytelling packs for individuals with early onset dementia and those in care homes.
She has also produced podcasts featuring discussions between artists, gathered stories of living through a global pandemic, created a digital story for Y Lab's Innovate To Save programme, and worked on a podcast series for National Theatre Wales.
In addition, Lisa is recording an album of field recordings within her local five-square-mile area.
Community-wise, Lisa is active in various roles such as running the local Women's Institute, serving on the Village Carnival committee, managing the community hall website, delivering meals on wheels, and contributing to the village newsletter.
She is a proficient speaker of Welsh and English and has some knowledge of sign language.
