Lisa Garrett

Lisa Garrett is the Founder and Director of Black Bear Healing Home, offering prenatal ASL and baby sign language classes. With a background in Women's Studies and Feminist Research from The University of Western Ontario and Contemporary Studies from University of King's College, she brings a wealth of experience to her work. Lisa has a diverse professional history, having held roles such as Coordinator at Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Advisory Committee, Research Assistant at Ta’n Weji-sqalia’tiek, and Family Support Facilitator at Halifax Association for Community Living.
