Lisa Davis

Lisa Davis is a co-owner and the Executive Director of Therapeutic Resources, a company specializing in rehabilitation and educational staffing in the New York Metropolitan area. She co-founded the company in 1985 alongside Marilyn Rosee while they were both working as occupational therapy consultants. Their initial idea was to hire therapists to fill the growing demand for their services, which led to the establishment of Therapeutic Resources as a successful staffing agency for therapists.12

Before founding the company, Lisa Davis served as the Director of Occupational Therapy at the Daughters of Jacob Geriatric Center in New York. She has maintained her role as a working therapist while managing the company, contributing to her expertise in the field. Both she and her partner have also been involved in academia, teaching in various occupational therapy programs and participating in professional organizations.1

Lisa Davis holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and has been recognized for her contributions to the field, including co-authoring a book aimed at helping occupational therapy students transition into clinical practice.12
