Lior Rachmany

Lior Rachmany is the founder and CEO of Dumbo Moving and Storage, Inc., one of the largest moving companies in New York City.12 He started the company in 2007 with just one truck, and it has since grown to a fleet of over 200 trucks and 800 employees.12

Originally from Israel, Rachmany moved to New York in 1998 as a musician.2 To support himself, he worked as a mover, eventually becoming a manager in the industry.2 This experience led him to start Dumbo Moving, named after the Brooklyn neighborhood where he had his first recording studio.1

Under Rachmany's leadership, Dumbo Moving has become known for its affordability and reliability.2 The company offers local, long-distance, international, commercial, and residential moving services, as well as storage solutions in the Tristate area.1
