Educational Background and Early Career:: Linnea has a strong foundation in linguistics, which she pursued during her college years. After graduating, she initially worked as a software tester at a healthcare IT company, where she gained valuable experience in quality assurance and medical record software. This role provided her with insights into data management and analysis, which sparked her interest in data science.1

Transition to Data Science:: After her time in healthcare IT, Linnea transitioned to an analyst position at Wayfair. Here, she focused on data analysis related to supplier inventory, utilizing tools such as SQL and Excel Pivot Tables. This role allowed her to explore her passion for uncovering patterns in data, leading her to pursue further education in data science at General Assembly.1
