Lindsay Mico

Lindsay Mico is an accomplished statistician and data analyst with over 15 years of experience solving complex problems using systems and data science. She specializes in extracting insights from real-world datasets, data modeling, and simulation, and the communication of technical information to a diverse audience. Mico's impressive technical skills include proficiency in R, Python, and Spark programming languages, SQL, and relational database development, and statistical design of experiments. She is also a GIS expert, well-versed in ESRI tools and agile software development. Mico's data mining and machine learning skills are exceptional, enabling her to develop predictive models with great accuracy. On top of all this, she is a strategic planner with business acumen and experience in project and team management, contract negotiation, and business process modeling. Her educational qualifications include an Honors BA in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, an MS in Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego, and a Graduate Certificate in Systems Science from Portland State University, among others. As Director of Data Science at Providence Health & Services, Mico is responsible for managing the team of data scientists and applied analytics. She remains passionate about using her expertise to identify and influence points of influence to solve complex problems.
