Linda Wingerter is a versatile artist who bridges the gap between visual and performing arts, with a passion for dynamic and moving art forms. She channels this passion into teaching both young people and adults.
She pursued her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Illustration at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design.
With a rich professional background, Linda has worked in various capacities in organizations such as The Stringpullers Puppet Co., Cornell University, Fairfield University, Klein Memorial Auditorium, Yale University, International Festival of Arts & Ideas, Quinnipiac University, Wesleyan University, Cornerstone Playhouse, and as a Freelance Illustrator & Graphic Designer.
Her roles have included being a Visual & Performing Artist, Teaching Artist, Senior Circulation Assistant, Adjunct Faculty, Assistant to the Executive Director, Costume Collection Manager, Project Manager, Guest Artist, Puppet Builder, Performer, Stage Manager, and Artist Services.
Linda's time in these diverse roles has equipped her with a wide range of skills and experiences, making her a well-rounded artist and educator in the fields of visual and performing arts.
