Lina Hadid
CNRS Researcher at the Laboratory of Plasma Physics (LPP/École Polytechnique)
Lina Hadid is a CNRS Research Fellow at the Plasma Physics Laboratory (LPP) in France.1 She holds a Ph.D. in Space Plasma Physics and specializes in space plasmas, turbulence, planetary atmospheres/dynamics, astrophysics, and fluid dynamics.2
Dr. Hadid's career path includes:
- Completing her Ph.D. at LPP
- Two post-doctoral positions at the Uppsala Institute of Space Physics (IRFU, Sweden) and the European Space Agency (ESA, The Netherlands)
- Joining the CNRS in January 2020 as part of the LPP space plasma team1
Her research focuses on understanding the interaction processes between the solar wind and planetary magnetospheres, analyzing in-situ wave and particle data from various space probes.1 Dr. Hadid has published numerous papers on topics such as magnetohydrodynamic turbulence, energy cascade rates in solar wind, and Saturn's ionosphere.2
In 2019, Lina Hadid was awarded the Vincenzo Ferraro Prize for her outstanding Ph.D. thesis.3 She is currently affiliated with the Laboratory of Plasma Physics at École Polytechnique in Palaiseau, Île-de-France.4
