Lila Smith

Lila Smith is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in acting, communication, and leadership roles.

She transitioned from acting to creating the Say Things Better Method of Intentional Communication, leveraging her theater training in offstage scenarios.

Drawing inspiration from various techniques such as Story visualization, Improv, Stanislavsky's System, Meisner's work, Adler's 'Actioning,' and Forakis' OTOA, Lila developed a comprehensive approach to intentional communication.

As the Director of Communications at The Philadelphia Cricket Club, she implements her method to foster authentic relationships and enhance member engagement.

Lila co-authored the book 'You've Got Values!' and is currently working on 'Never Walk Onstage Like an Apology: Life Lessons I Learned in Theater.'

She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Communications/Theater from SUNY Oneonta.
