Lidia Catalá is a highly accomplished marketing professional and journalist with a diverse background in various industries. After completing her degree in Sociology at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, she pursued a career in journalism, working as a redactora and documentalista for the SITGES – International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia and the Sónar - Festival Internacional de Música Avanzada. She then transitioned to a career in marketing, holding positions as a Key account manager and Responsible de Social Media Marketing at Runroom, as well as a Brand Manager for the Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial, S.A. where she managed the Lumen, Debate, Literatura Random House, and Reservoir Books imprints. In addition to her professional experience, Catalá has also pursued further education by completing a Postgrado en Periodismo at the London School of Journalism, as well as a Postgrado en Marketing Online at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.
Throughout her career, Catalá has honed her skills in community management, SEO strategy, project management, and content creation. As a freelancer, she continues to utilize these skills to help businesses achieve their marketing goals.
