Licio de Araujo Vale is a philosopher graduated from PUC - SP, with qualifications in Suicide and Self-Mutilation from UNIPAR, specializing in Suicide Prevention from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).

He is a researcher focusing on grief and the appreciation of life, an educator, and a speaker. He is a member of the Brazilian Association of Studies and Prevention of Suicide (ABEPS) and was previously part of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP).
