Liat Berdugo is an accomplished artist, writer, and educator currently serving as an Associate Professor of Art + Architecture at the University of San Francisco. She specializes in new media art, focusing on themes such as embodiment, labor, militarization, and their intersections with capitalism and technological utopianism, particularly in the context of the Middle East. Her artistic work has been exhibited in notable venues including MoMA PS1 in New York and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.13
In addition to her teaching role, Berdugo is a Board Member of the New Media Caucus, where she has been involved since at least 2018.
