Liam Don

Liam Don is the co-founder and President of ClassDojo, a widely used school communication platform that connects teachers, students, and families. ClassDojo is utilized in approximately 95% of U.S. K-8 schools and in over 180 countries, aiming to foster strong relationships and supportive communities within educational settings. The platform allows users to share updates through photos, videos, and messages, thereby enhancing classroom engagement and communication.13

Before founding ClassDojo in 2011, Don worked as a games developer on the popular online game RuneScape and was pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Durham, focusing on technology's role in education. He and his co-founder, Sam Chaudhary, moved to the U.S. to participate in the Y Combinator startup accelerator, where they developed ClassDojo from the ground up.134

Don has received several accolades for his work, including being named in Forbes' "30 Under 30" list for education multiple times and recognized as one of America's Most Promising CEOs under 35. ClassDojo has also been awarded various honors, such as TechCrunch's Crunchie for Best Education Startup.235
