Liam Cronin

Liam Cronin is the Chief Executive Officer of RDI Hub, a center for design-led digital innovation located in Killorglin, County Kerry, Ireland. He has been in this role since September 2019, where he focuses on driving innovation and supporting the growth of startups and SMEs through various programs and partnerships.14

With over 30 years of experience, Liam has held significant positions prior to his current role. He was the Associate Director of Commercialisation at the ADAPT Research Centre at Trinity College Dublin for three years, where he developed industry partnerships across multiple sectors including FinTech and connected health.12 Before that, he spent 25 years at Microsoft in various executive roles, contributing to sales, marketing, and product development across Ireland and Western Europe.13

Under Liam's leadership, RDI Hub has become a key player in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the South West of Ireland, supported by a public-private partnership model involving Fexco, Munster Technological University, and Kerry County Council. The Hub aims to create a collaborative environment for technology and research, focusing on areas such as AI, data, and digital technologies.245
