In 2008, Lewis pivoted to academia, directing and teaching at entrepreneurial legal clinics in various institutions such as Lewis and Clark Law School, Wayne State University Law School, and currently at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
At the University of Cincinnati, Lewis serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Law and the Director of the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, pioneering UC's first transactional legal clinic where students provide free legal services to small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs from the Cincinnati area.
