Léopold Gasteen

Léopold Gasteen is a seasoned professional currently engaged in building a contextual matchmaking AI startup on a self-funded basis. Prior to this venture, he founded Edgefolio, a platform designed to foster connections within the asset management sector through data analytics.

Gasteen has a strong background in the financial industry, having held the role of International Business Development at Sector Asset Management, a prominent Hedge Fund boutique with around $3.6 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM). He also served as a Managing Director at Thalēs, a technology-driven placement boutique based in New York.

Apart from his corporate roles, Gasteen participates as an angel investor in early-stage tech startups like Gardenia Technologies, BVNK, Precursive, and Casa Padel, as well as in top-performing VC funds like Concentric and Seedcamp.
