Leon Berrios

Leon Berrios is a multi-lingual leader with a Jurisprudence Doctor (J.D) from Central American University and a Legum Legis Magister (LLM) from Vanderbilt University. He has a strong background in jurisprudence procedures like analysis, investigation, mediation, and conciliation.

With a focus on civil and human rights, community development of immigrants, and Immigration law, Leon has experience working in both the public and private sectors. He is passionate about representing local, national, and international organizations on relevant issues.

Education-wise, Leon studied English and French as second languages at Vanderbilt University Language Center and Ecole-club Migros Neuchâtel Switzerland, respectively. He pursued Mediation at Central American University, a Doctor of Law (J.D.) specializing in International Human Rights, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) focusing on Immigration and Community and Economic Development at Vanderbilt University Law School.

Throughout his career, Leon has held various roles in different organizations, such as working as a Rule 31 Family & Civil Mediator at Centro de Mediacion Familiar, Legal Advocate at Conexión Américas, and Immigration and Legal Affairs Director at Hispanic Family Foundation. He was also a Consultant at Meeting Points Non-Profit Organization and Investigator of Human Rights Violations for the National Government in Managua, Nicaragua.
