    Len Necefer holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University. He completed his BS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kansas and his International Baccalaureate at The United World College of the American West. Additionally, he finished his high school education at Navajo Preparatory School, Inc.

    Len Necefer is the CEO of NativesOutdoors and has held various positions in organizations such as the American Alpine Club, Honnold Foundation, State of Colorado's Colorado Outdoor Recreation Advisory Group, and SHIFT / The Center For Jackson Hole. Previously, he served as a Board Member, Film Director, and President Of The Board Of Directors at different organizations.

    Throughout his career, Len Necefer has taken on roles such as Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona, Energy analyst and Project Monitor for the Department of Energy's Office of Indian Energy at Allegheny Science & Technology, and Graduate Intern at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Sandia National Laboratories. He has also been involved in projects at NASA Glenn Research Center and undertaken leadership positions at various academic and research institutions.
