Len Brown is a highly accomplished producer/director, executive producer, and writer with over three decades of experience in the entertainment industry. Len earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Politics from The University of Hull, a Master of Arts degree in Films Studies (Screenwriting) from Leeds Metropolitan University, and attended Cambridge Grammar School and Dame Allan's School in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Len began his career as a music journalist for the New Musical Express and East End News, before transitioning to television as a researcher and assistant producer at BBC. He then worked at Granada Television/ ITV as a producer and progressed through several executive positions at BBC, RDF Television, and ITV, including Executive Producer of Arts at ITV. Len is currently the Producer/Director and Writer at MACLARTY BROWN MEDIA LIMITED, where he leads creative development, directing, and production. He is also a former Managing Director of Indie Training Fund, providing training and support for the British independent television production sector.
