Leland Lai's educational background is extensive, with an MBA in General Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management, a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, and participation in the US Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. Additionally, he holds a certificate from the Negotiation and Leadership Program for Senior Executives at Harvard Law School.
Throughout his career, Leland Lai has held various key positions in reputable organizations. He was the Founder in Residence at AI Fund, the Managing Director at phireGEN Advisory Group, and the Managing Director for Asia at GSMA. He also served as the GM at Terayon (acquired by Motorola for USD 140M) in Motorola Solutions, the Founding CEO at CriticalSense, and the President of the Wireless Division at Cortelco Systems Puerto Rico, Inc., which went public on Nasdaq under the symbol EONC.
Prior to these roles, Leland Lai gained valuable experience through management rotations at 3Com Corporation, corporate development responsibilities at Hutchison Telecom Ltd., and a fellowship in Public Affairs at Coro Southern California.
