With over a decade of experience in public service at San Francisco City Hall, Leigh is currently serving as the CEO and President of SaverLife, a nonprofit fintech organization dedicated to addressing America's savings crisis.
Leigh's educational background includes a Master's degree in Economics and Women's Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Social Studies, both from The University of Manchester. Leigh also attended Lynbrook High School.
Throughout Leigh's career, they have held various key positions in notable organizations. Besides their current role as the President and CEO of SaverLife, Leigh has served as the Chair of the Consumer Advisory Board at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and as a Board Member at Moneythink. Additionally, Leigh has been involved with organizations such as Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, Level Money, and Mission Economic Development Agency in different capacities.
Prior to their current role, Leigh held significant positions at the San Francisco City and County, including Director of the San Francisco Office of Financial Empowerment and Program Manager at the Office of Financial Empowerment. Leigh also has experience in development at UCSF Foundation and as a National Accounts Manager at Wild Planet Toys.
