Leigh Mathews is a highly experienced practitioner with over 17 years of diverse experience in the international development, philanthropic, and corporate social responsibility sectors. She is the CEO of Alto Global Consulting, a boutique consulting firm supporting businesses and organizations to excel in their social impact endeavors. Leigh hosts The Good Problem Podcast, is a published author, and has a keen interest in ethics, currently working on a forthcoming book exploring the nuances of doing good. She is the founder of AltoLearn, an online platform aiding purpose-driven organizations in fostering a culture for good. Moreover, Leigh is the co-founder of the international advocacy network, ReThink Orphanages. She actively contributes to various committees and boards, including the Course Advisory Committee for the Master of Social Impact at Swinburne University and the Advisory Board for the Australian Volunteers International (AVI) ChildSafe Volunteering Hub. Leigh is also involved in the Victorian Government School for Student Leadership, where she chairs the Student Equity Fund Committee. With an array of accolades to her name, Leigh Mathews was the recipient of the Victorian Young Australian of the Year Award 2009, the Australian Leadership Award 2009, and the JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World Award in 2009. She is an alumnus of the University of Melbourne AsiaLink Leaders Program (2014) and the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership Executive Colloquium (2019).
