Leigh Hartman

Leigh Hartman is a highly educated individual with a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from NYU School of Law. Her educational background also includes a BA in English from the University of Chicago.

Leigh has an extensive professional history in various organizations, notably serving as a Foreign Policy Writer/Editor at the U.S. Department of State's ShareAmerica. Prior to this role, she worked as a Special Assistant for Public Affairs in the Front Office at the U.S. Department of State. She has also served as a Project Manager and Move Coordinator at the American Center Yangon within the U.S. Department of State.

Notable positions in Leigh's career include being a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of State and an Extern at the Office of the General Counsel for International Affairs at the United States Department of Defense. She also interned at the Office of Organized Crime at the Kings County District Attorney's Office and the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice.

In her earlier career, Leigh held roles as the New Media Coordinator and Press Assistant in the Office of Senator Al Franken at the United States Senate.
