Lee Hower, an entrepreneur turned venture capitalist, has built an accomplished career investing across software and internet-enabled companies in various industries such as consumer, SaaS, fintech, and connected hardware. With his extensive experience and insight, Lee has led investments in more than 30 seed stage companies since 2010.
Lee's career in the tech industry began when he became an early employee at PayPal. He then transitioned to the founding team of LinkedIn before embracing a full-time VC investor role at PJC. Along with other VCs, Lee co-founded NextView Ventures, where he now serves as a co-founder and partner.
Throughout his career, Lee has invested in a range of companies, including Optimus Ride, Grove Collaborative, 10% Happier, Skillz Inc., Plastiq, InsightSquared, Quilt, GrabCAD, and Upserve. His impact on these companies is profound, as he served as an investor, board director, board observer, and advisor throughout his tenure.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and his professional experience in corporate development, financial services, and management makes him an industry expert.
