    Leah Waldo

Associate Director of Online Curriculum at Berklee College of Music

Leah Waldo, a talented musician and singer-songwriter, got her big break when Garth Brooks invited her on stage to play a song after a chance encounter at a Boston event.

Growing up in Illinois, Leah's musical journey started early, inspired by her family's diverse music tastes ranging from gospel tunes to classic rock, shaping her love for rock n roll and vintage country.

Her music is a mix of nostalgia, wanderlust, heartbreak, and mischief, with a sound that has been described as a blend of Loretta Lynn and Led Zeppelin.

Leah holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Business and Management from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Education in Arts In Education from Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

During the day, she contributes to Berklee's online courses, working with their faculty to create free educational opportunities for a global audience.

Apart from her music career, Leah has held various roles such as Curriculum Manager and Associate Director of Online Curriculum at Berklee Online, as well as Project Manager at Berklee College of Music and a Board Member at Genuine Voices.
