Leah Petersen is a Vice President at Two Sigma, where she leads initiatives focused on building, shipping, and administering developer tooling to enhance engineering productivity and safety.

With a strong background in Cloud Native tooling, CI/CD platforms, and DevOps practices, Leah brings years of experience in implementing cutting-edge technologies to drive efficiency and innovation.

As a co-creator and coordinator of AdieCon, a conference catering to alums and allies of Ada Developers Academy, a prestigious software development program for women and gender diverse individuals, Leah is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusivity within the tech industry.

Prior to her current role, Leah Petersen has held various positions at renowned organizations, including Engineering Manager, System Engineer, and Vice President at Two Sigma, demonstrating her versatile skill set and leadership abilities.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Leah has a diverse background, having been a former motorcycle stuntwoman and owning her own stunt business. She has also held roles in account management, research assistance, and entertainment, showcasing her multidisciplinary expertise.

Leah's educational background includes a BA in Sociology from Sarah Lawrence College and studies in Computer Science at Ada Developers Academy, providing her with a well-rounded foundation to excel in both technical and social aspects of her career.
