    Leah N Harris is a Research Assistant at Stanford University who graduated from Stanford in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Psychology, concentrating in Neuroscience.1 As an undergraduate, she worked as a research assistant and device lead for the Stanford Home Sleep Study in Dr. James Gross' Stanford Psychophysiology Lab.1 Her research focused on studying the relationship between sleep, sleep bruxism, and affective experiences.13

    Currently, Leah works as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Computational Psychiatry, Neuroscience, and Sleep Laboratory (CoPsyN Sleep Lab) at Stanford.1 Her research interests include sleep and affect research in the field of clinical psychology.1 Specifically, she has been investigating if emotion regulation is significantly impaired in individuals with sleep bruxism, as well as testing its association with wake-time stress and impaired sleep quality.3

    Leah has also been involved in efforts to improve sleep and well-being, as evidenced by her LinkedIn post encouraging participation in her research at the Stanford Home Sleep Center.2

    Outside of her research work, Leah enjoys reading, writing and performing spoken word poetry, taking naps, and watching movies.1
