Maria Walker is a highly educated and experienced art therapist with a passion for helping others. She holds an MA in Art Therapy from New York University, a BA in Visual Art (Honors) from Brown University, and an MFA in Painting from Temple University. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles in the mental health and art education fields, including Director of Ancillary Therapeutic Services at Four Winds Hospital, Senior Art Therapist at Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, and Adjunct Professor at Tyler School of Art.
Maria's extensive experience includes working as an art therapist intern at Woodhull Medical Center, Camp Good Grief at East End Hospice, and Millennium High School. Additionally, she worked as an Art Teacher at A New Dawn Elementary School and as a Studio Manager at DFB Sales. Her skills and interests include art therapy, mental health, art education, and creative expression.
