Lawrence Spracklen

Lawrence Spracklen is the Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer at Arkifi, a role he has held since 2023. Based in Menlo Park, California, he has an extensive background in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Prior to Arkifi, he served as the Vice President of Machine Learning at Numenta, where he focused on applying neuroscience principles to enhance deep learning models, including large language models (LLMs) like BERT and GPT.1

In addition to his current position, Spracklen has held various leadership roles in technology and engineering across several companies:

• Chief Technology Officer at R-Squared AI (2020-2023), where he led machine learning research and developed solutions for real-time insights into organizational health.
• Founding Vice President of Engineering at SupportLogic, Inc. (2017-2020), where he built a SaaS platform that utilized natural language processing (NLP) to improve customer support metrics.1
• He has also worked with companies like TIBCO Software and Alpine Data, focusing on machine learning workflows and analytics solutions.1
