Lawrence Houck

Lawrence Houck is a skilled and versatile Emergency Management Planner with excellent hands-on experience in various areas of emergency management operations. With a degree in Emergency Management and Administration and fifteen years of work experience in the retail and hospitality industry, Houck has developed strong leadership qualities along with exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and people management skills.

Houck has received various academic honors and awards and has many relevant certifications under his belt. He recently finished his FEMA “Train the CERT Trainer” and is working toward his CEM certification.

Houck has worked as a Sr. Emergency Management Specialist at the City of Plano and has held various Emergency Management Planner positions for the City of Arlington and City of Irving. He has also served as the Assistant Emergency Manager at North Lake College and has been a mentor and tutor coordinator in the education sector.
