With hands-on experience in student development and academic affairs, Lawrence has successfully managed various areas in multiple universities nationwide.
His extensive political experience includes serving six terms in the State Legislature, where he chaired committees ranging from Taxation to Judiciary to Utilities and Energy.
Lawrence Bliss pursued his education at the University of California, earning a B.A., studying M. Admin. at the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management, and completing coursework towards an Ed.D.
Throughout his career, Lawrence held key positions such as Director of Academic Advising and Career Education at California State University, East Bay, Director at the University of Southern Maine, and San Francisco State University, and served as a State Senator at the Maine State Legislature.
